Mathematica 8 and Wolfram|Alpha?
I’m having troubles using = and == , I write something to ask to Wolfram|Alpha and it answers:
“Request Denied Wolfram|Alpha server (3004)
Visit http://www.wolfram.com/mathmatica/wolframalpha-api-upgrade.cgi” I click on and asks my email to send me something about Wolfram|Alpha api after 2 days and I don’t receive nothing.
I readied about Wolfram|Alpha calls there are like 100 but i haven’t used it already.
Wolfram Research Inc is controlling the access to Wolfram|Alpha servers. If your installation was obtained through the commercial channels of Wolfram Research, you should use the technical support.
The access to Wolfram|Alpha API is paid. What they are doing is granting an allowance to legitimate customers of Mathematica 8. This grant depends on the edition of Mathematica. The use of “=” and “==” counts as they are internally handled through calls to the WolframAlpha function.
The WolframAlpha function is limited to 1,000 API calls per day for professional Premier Service subscribers (500 API calls per day for student and classroom Premier Service subscribers), and 100 API calls per day for all other users, unless an API upgrade is purchased.
